A mobile app specially designed for Anycubic printers, including remote control, remote monitoring, real-time printing records and other intelligent functions.
Great experience purchasing direct from Anycubuc, wouldn't recommend buying from anyone else. Delivery wasnt great but got here, selivery company fault nit Anycubic. Wouldnt buy the hassle free insurance as this was a waste of time. Tech support from Anycubus is second to none, absolutly brilliant. I have three anycubic machines and will be looking at buying a fourth soon.
Love the size, and the fact that I can change colours! Not to mention that when I run out of a colour it pauses the print rather than letting a print go to waste :)
Excellent product, well packaged and easy to assemble, it’s bigger than I expected so make sure you have a sturdy table. I am new to 3d printing and I added the high speed filament to the order, this has caused me a few problems with the settings so I’ve switched back to the standard PLA and so far no issues, there are lots of videos online for tips and tricks
I started with the Kobra 3 and it's been awesome ( I've 3 other printers). I have a movement disorder that can make loading / changing filaments / nozzles etc tricky, but the Ace Pro mitigates the filament loading totally . I've had superb quality prints and minimum maintenance issues ( other than a few X belts and a ceramic hot end ).
With all this in mind I bought a Kobra 3 Max combo and it's been great from the Get Go (after settling in and Y belt too tight).
It’s slower to get going due tonics size over the smaller kobra 3 printers but it gives you so much more in terms of how much to print in one go as it is 3x the print space and also how big you can go.
Its a great product and easier to assemble than a snapmaker printer. The construction quality appears to be much better out of the box.
The delivery of my order was frustrating, featuring three different couriers and four different packages.
I waited to post a review until I had over 500 hours of printing completed. Currently at 609 hours and so far I have had only two issues, both resolved by using the Wiki.
Firstly I had unknown filament in the extruder, which turned out to be a small piece that had broken off and was lodged across the nozzle. Easily fixed by removing the cutter and fishing it out.
Only other issue happened at 608 hours. This was dragging the first layer and on inspection was filament that had leaked around the hot end which was also an easy fix, although I have now ordered a new hot end and spare nozzle. No idea how long these parts should last, so I will post an update when the original finally fails and I have no choice but to replace it.
Overall, considering the price, the print area and the ease of use, this is a really decent printer.
Great printer (I also have 2 x Bambu printers and an old Ender clone for comparison).
I did own an Elegoo Neptune 4 Max for 6 weeks prior to purchasing this and the Anycubic Kobra 3 Max is in a different league, it’s from a different printer generation it appears.
The combo kit is excellent and allows 4 colour printing with ease, Anycubic slicer is Orca / Bambu and the app works very similarly to Bambu.
I had a couple of small Z offset issues to begin with which needed manual adjustment from time to time but since the last update print quality is brilliant with Z issues seemingly resolved.
Luckily the Elegoo is now sold on and I’m very pleased with my choice, shame I wasted my money to start with.
Shipping was weird, it came in 3 x separate deliveries a few days apart. 1st the printer, then the Ace Pro and finally the 4 x filaments for £1 which I got with the deal, no mention of this logistics from Anycubic at any time though !!
I have no problem recommending Anycubic printers if they are anything like this Kobra 3 Max.
Excluding the late shipping, the out of stock additional components an the late arrival of the filament; I am happy with this printer.
The print size is impressive as is the ease of setup and first test prints.
One thing I noticed is that the runners/rails are not pre-lubed and could benefit from a little tlc on arrival.
Apart from a few issues with the print head scraping the first layer off of the print bed.
Both the size of the print area, and the addition of multi colour printing has been amazing.
I will be looking to getting a second ace pro to increase to 8 colours.
Definitely recommend if looking to take your ideas to the next level.
What do the [1][2][3][4] annotations in the product details mean?
The numbered annotations on the product page correspond to the following explanations: [1] Two ACE Pro units need to be connected using the eight-color feed module. [2] To achieve a smoother multicolor printing, please prioritize the use of plastic filament spools. [3] Heating from 25°C to 60°C takes only 125 seconds. [4] A camera is needed for this function.
Can the Kobra 3 Max Combo use 3mm diameter filaments? What types of filaments can it print?
Kobra 3 Max Combo only supports 1.75mm diameter filaments. It can print PLA, PETG, ABS and TPU(95A). TPU (95A)A is only suitable for single-color printing and is not suitable for printing with ACE Pro.
Does the Kobra 3 Max Combo support 1.75mm filament from other brands? Can the ACE Pro be used with filaments without intelligent identification?
You can use filaments from any brand or other filaments. The Kobra 3 Max only supports PLA series filaments, PETG, ABS, and TPU.The ACE Pro can precisely detect intelligent identification filaments, automatically optimizing printer settings for the best results. If users use filaments without intelligent identification, the ACE Pro will not automatically recognize the material and color.
What is the layer thickness of the Kobra 3 Max Combo?
The original nozzle is 0.4mm (replaceable with 0.2mm, 0.6mm, or 0.8mm nozzles), supporting a precision range of 0.05-0.3mm.
Can the Kobra 3 Max Combo connect to a computer for printing? Are there any system requirements for connecting to a computer?
Yes, it supports computer connection. While connected, Gcode files can be uploaded to the cloud server and pushed to the 3D printer via the cloud after slicing is completed. It supports Windows 10 and above.
How does the filament auto refill function work on the ACE Pro?
1. Materials with intelligent identification are automatically detected as the same material and color, requiring no operation (default automatic feeding).2. Manual settings for the same material and color also require no operation, defaulting to automatic feeding.3. Manual settings can require automatic feeding.
How many languages does the Kobra 3 Max Combo support?
